Joe Potenza
President
Joe has over 18 years of sales, relationship, operational, and executive management experience. He began his career as a financial advisor and then moved into positions of relationship, operational and profit and loss responsibilities. He returned to sales and account management when he made a move to join Transcentive in early 2001.
Transcentive was acquired by Computershare in 2004 where Joe has served in positions of account management, sales, profit and loss, and executive management across many of Computershare’s business lines.

Currently, Joe is based in Connecticut and serves as President of the Computershare Equity Compensation Services division, which consists of Plan Managers, Transcentive and Executive Services.

Joe holds a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University.

Scott Harrigan
Senior Vice President

Scott Harrigan is the Senior Vice President of Computershare Plan Managers-US and the Chief Operating Officer of Computershare Securities Corp. Scott has been a member of the US management team since Computershare entered the US market in 2000. As part of the management team, Scott played an integral role in organizing Computershare’s first venture into the US employee plan business in 2000 with the acquisition of the Merrill Lynch employee plan business. In addition, Scott leads and provides strategic direction for the relationship management, client service, plan administration and new business development teams.

Prior to joining Computershare, Scott was a vice president in the Private Client Group for Merrill Lynch. In this role, Scott was responsible for the overall leadership of the employee stock purchase plan business. Before his tenure with Merrill Lynch, Scott held a variety of leadership positions with Bankers Trust Company’s Defined Contribution Group. In his last role there, he was vice president, responsible for the management of 401(k) retirement plans for Fortune 100 companies.

Scott received his Bachelors degree in Finance from Rutgers University and holds General Securities Licenses, Series 7, 63, and 24. Scott is an active member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals.

Mary Kelly
Vice President, Sales
Mary has worked in the securities industry for more than 20 years, with experience in operations, compliance, product management, relationship management, business implementation and customer service.

Before joining Computershare in 2000, Mary was a consultant to Harris Bank, responsible for the system conversion of more than five million shareholders in their stock transfer division. Also as a consultant, she began managing the operations team responsible for one of the largest employee plans administered by the bank. Prior to her consulting career, Mary worked for First Chicago in corporate trust, operations and compliance.

Mary is a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals. She received her BA from Aurora University and her MBA from DePaul University. She also holds Series 7, 63 and 24 Securities Licenses and is a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) Level 1.

Victoria Diaz
Director, Client Solutions North America
Victoria Diaz is the Director of Client Solutions for Computershare Plan Managers North America.  She leads the implementation team that manages plan integration for all new Computershare clients.  Victoria and her team are responsible for working with the client to understand the plan needs and how Computershare’s technology solutions and processes will work best for them.  In addition, she runs the solutions team which coordinates all technology development for the Computershare Plan Managers team.
Victoria has worked in the financial services industry for 18 years, specifically in the plans space for 15 years.  Prior to joining Computershare, she held multiple positions for Chase. As a member of the trading team, she was responsible for all trading activities for the plans and dividend reinvestment groups. Additionally, she worked on the team responsible for large client implementations for Chase Mellon Shareholder Services, ran the operations team responsible for all aspects of the delivery of services to the employee stock purchase plans clients and was the business lead on the project team put together for the development of Chase Mellon’s proprietary Stock Option System.  Finally, Victoria was responsible for providing business requirements and validation of those requirements.

Victoria is a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals.  She received her degree in Accounting from Long Island University and is a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) Level 1.

Matt O’Connell
Manager, Broker Operations
Matt O’Connell is the Manager of Brokerage Operations for Computershare Plan Managers. In this role, Matt oversees Computershare Securities Corp, a registered Broker Dealer, and all of the activity that occurs through the broker dealer such as trade processing, settlements and share movements.

Prior to joining Computershare in April 2007, Matt was an Officer at Mellon Financial as the Supervisor of Operations for Mellon Securities (a registered Broker Dealer). As the Supervisor of Operations, Matt provided leadership and strategic direction for all transactions handled through the broker dealer. Prior to Mellon, Matt was the Director of Operations for Comprehensive Asset Management and Servicing, Inc (a registered Broker Dealer and Registered Investment Adviser).

Matt received a BA in History with a minor in Political Science from Averett College (now called Averett University). He is licensed with FINRA and holds his Series 7, 63, and 24.
